CHURCH MARRIAGES – BETWEEN CYPRIOTS AND FOREIGNERS
Both parties must be aware that the marriage is allowed between an Orthodox
and a member of another heterodox Christian denomination.
Requirements:
For Orthodox Christians:
1) Civil Marriage Certificate
2) Birth Certificate
3) Political identity card or passport
4) Certificate of Thalassemia
5) Juror statement
6) Certificate of Freedom
For the member of another heterodox Christian denomination:
1) Birth Certificate
2) Baptismal Certificate
3) Certificate of Freedom
4) Juror Statement
5) Certificate of Thalassemia
6) Passport and residence permitment in Cyprus
